Distance learning in France

France has a centralized education system where the quality and value of a degree does not depend on the school of the university who provided the training and delivered the degree. The French distance learning system is adminstered by various government offices: the ‘AUF’ ou agence universitaire de la francophonie, the ‘CNED’ ou centre national d’enseignement à distance, ‘CURSUS’, a directory of international trainings, Formasup and Telesup, two online systems available on campuses.
