A Computer Tip Newsletter That’s Worth Checking Out

Sunday, March 2nd, 2008

There are a lot of computer tip newsletters to chose from, but it helps when you know what to look for.

A good computer tip newsletter will not only give you good computer tips and tricks, but explain basic computer knowledge in a simple way that makes sense. Computer basics worth reading will give you not just tips on making your computer easier to use, but also help you understand the future of computers and where things will be heading in a few years as both software and hardware change as technology progresses.

The pace of innovation and technological change is faster than it ever has been, so it’s always good to have
a helping hand guide you through it all. The emails you’ll get in this newsletter are one easy way to learn.

Spector Pro or Webwatcher – Which One?

Thursday, November 8th, 2007

If you have been researching spy and monitoring software, there were probably 2 that stood out more than any others.  Spector Pro and Webwatcher.  Both are excellent programs.  What’s the biggest difference?  Webwatcher is a remote monitoring software program which means you can access the reports and logs from any computer in the world no matter where you are.  The downfall is that it is all Internet based which means it is slow to load the data.  Spector Pro is a software program that runs on the users computer and can only be accessed on it.  The information is password protected and very neatly organized.  Spector Pro also gives you the option to have the reports emailed to you in case you are not home.  Overall, Spector Pro records more information than Webwatcher, but based on your needs, Webwatcher may be a better choice.
