Alternative energy is a general term for any form of energy that can be substituted for another form. Natural gas, for example, can be an alternative for coal or oil. Alternative energy is derived from natural, renewable resources such as wind, sun, and water. Popular forms of alternative energy include solar, biofuels (ethanol), geothermal, coal gasification, hydro, and wind power. Alternative energy is the energy component beneath the clean technology umbrella. It includes solar, wind power, fuel cell technology, biofuels and others energy technologies that promote an economic and environmental benefit.

There have been many recent innovations to alternative energy as a result of expanding alternative energy technologies. Alternative energy technologies have made it possible to do much more research on how to use the alternative energy sources that we have more effectively to generate the most power out of the various sources.

Nothing could be more convincing than an actual first-hand experience. The new TV which we had just bought last week is living example. It’s the latest model on the LCD series of a branded Japanese make. Along with all the advanced features, it can be connected to various external devices, including PCs. That made me sat up and took notice right away. To me, such big-name companies do not design new features into their products just by gut feel or guesswork. This TV and PC integration appears to be a potential trend setter.

In the old pagan world, all tribes celebrate in the middle of winter for a festival. early Europeans celebrated light and birth in the darkest days of winter. Many peoples rejoiced during the winter solstice, when the worst of the winter was behind them and they could look forward to longer days and extended hours of sunlight.

To tell you the Scandinavian Norse Men Celebrated Yule from December 21, the winter solstice, through January. The people would feast until the log burned out, which could take as many as 12 days. They believed that each spark from the fire represented a new pig or calf that would be born during the coming year.
