Another IT friend of mine believes that if our government were to hang the next jerk who pulls one of these off you would see a dramatic decrease in this problem. I may agree with the outcome but I fully support the solution. Any act that damages personal property, wastes others’ time and money and causes such aggravation should be dealt with as harshly as other crimes. Do what you can to protect yourself. Buy a good piece of anti virus and anti spyware software. And if you meet a hacker on the road – you samurai fans can give them the same bitter pill we all swallow.
